King’s Birthday Picnic and BBQ

A combined church picnic day will be held at Parramatta Park at the Gawi Shelter on Monday 9 June 2025 on the King’s Birthday long weekend .
This event is hosted by Metropolitan Baptist Church, Lane Cove.

Gawi Picnic Shelter Location F  (near the George St Gatehouse entrance and the Paperbark Playground)

The shelter has a coffee shop close by, electric BBQs, toilets and a children’s playground.

You  are welcome to join us for a day of Christian fellowship from 10am-4pm.
Bring your own picnic gear, food, bikes, and sports equipment.

We will have a volleyball court set up for some inter-church competition.
Parking is free within the grounds because of the public holiday.
